Size chart

Finding the right ring size matters, particularly with a substantial signet.

Certain Stars rings use UK letter sizing. Because our signets are wider and more substantial than a fine band, the fit may feel slightly different from a narrower ring.

Find your size

  1. For the most accurate result, we recommend having your finger professionally measured by a jeweller or using a physical ring sizing gauge.
  2. Measure the exact finger on which you intend to wear the ring. Finger sizes can differ between hands, so don’t assume that the same finger on each hand will be the same size.
  3. A well fitting ring should feel secure at the base of the finger while still passing comfortably over the knuckle.

Measure a ring you already own

If you already have a ring that fits the intended finger well, measure its inside diameter and compare it with the chart above.

Measure straight across the widest point of the inside of the ring, from one inside edge to the other. Don’t include the thickness of the metal.

For the best comparison, use a ring that fits the same finger and has a broadly similar width. A fine band can fit differently from a substantial signet.

Measure your finger

You can also measure the circumference of the finger itself.

Use a flexible measuring tape and wrap it comfortably around the point where the ring will sit. Note the circumference and compare it with the chart above. Alternatively, wrap a strip of paper or non stretching ribbon around the finger, mark where the ends meet, lay it flat and measure the length.

Don’t pull it excessively tight, remember that the ring still needs to pass over your knuckle.

Getting the fit right

Finger size can change slightly with temperature and throughout the day. Avoid measuring when your hands are particularly cold or unusually swollen, and measure more than once before ordering.

If your measurement falls between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size. This can be particularly useful with a more substantial signet.

If you’re unsure, a professional jeweller can measure your finger quickly and accurately.

Measure the finger. Check it twice. Then choose the ring.

Our contemporary take on the classic signet ring, set with a faceted, octagonal cut moldavite stone in an architectural stepped bezel.

Formed around 15 million years ago by the impact of a meteorite, moldavite brings a cosmic energy to a substantial yet carefully balanced design. Its deep, translucent green connects the power of space with the elemental character of the sea and our coastal origins in Broadstairs.

Distinctive without being overpowering, this is a ring with a rare and almost otherworldly presence.
